Started from the idea of promoting modern and contemporary music, Ensemble Couleurs appeared for the first time in a vibrant context for new music, during the A Tribute to György Ligeti in his Native Transylvania festival, a manifestation coordinated by assistant professor and musicologist Bianca Țiplea Temeș.

Given the fact that we are just at our first appearances, we cannot display a vast repertoire; at this time we establish objectives and look with young optimism towards the future. We want to bring a fresh and consistent contribution to the contemporary artistic space.
